While many see the spring season as the perfect start to a clean slate, Lakeridge Winery sees it as a cause for celebration. Each year, as part of its Annual Wine & Seafood Festival, the winery invites guests of all ages to a weekend packed with outdoor games, live musical performances, and a boatload of seafood. From Friday, March 20, to Sunday, March 22, Lakeridge will host the 12th annual festival right here in Central Florida — and it promises to pile more entertainment than ever.
Endless Food Selections
During select hours throughout the festival weekend, guests will encounter a variety of serving areas where they’ll find seafood selections prepared to their liking, including:
- Grilled bacon wrapped scallops, mahi-mahi, and alligator skewers
- Fried shrimp, fish, clam strips, calamari, scallops, and oysters
- Steamed middleneck clams, mussels, lobster tails, crab legs, and shrimp
While seafood is the main draw for most attendees, Lakeridge also offers an array of alternative meal options so that everyone in your party can enjoy the festival to its fullest.
Complimentary Tastings
Lakeridge offers festival-goers complimentary winery tours and wine tastings. Visitors can journey through a behind-the-scenes tour of the facility, learn more about the winemaking process, and get an exclusive view of the bottling area. Top off your tour by sipping up to eight different wines samples right from the winery’s walkthrough production area.
Local Vendor Booths
After you’ve sipped and savored Lakeridge’s wines, head over to the crafter area for a market-style shopping experience. Sift through items from artisan vendors and walk away with your own piece of treasure. From handmade candles to unique accessories, you’re sure to find the perfect item to decorate your office or complete your next outfit.
