September Concerts at The Plaza Live in Orlando
Wet Leg
Saturday, September 3, 2022 | Time: 8 p.m. | Doors Open: 7 p.m.
Wet Leg is a British indie-rock band formed by singers and best friends Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers.
The duo released their catchy and clever first single “Chaise Longue” in June 2021. The song quickly helped them land TV appearances on Late Night with Seth Meyers and Later… with Jools Holland. After opening for CHVRCHES and Idles, the band is embarking on their first U.S. tour. They’ll promote songs such as “Too Late Now” off their self-titled debut album.
PUP
Wednesday, September 14, 2022 | Time: 8 p.m. | Doors Open: 7 p.m.
Toronto-based rockers PUP will bring their defiant punk- and emo-rock anthems to the Plaza Live this September. PUP formed in 2010 and is now touring songs from their fourth album, The Unraveling of PUPTHEBAND. The “PUP RETURNS: THANK F***ING GOD” tour features support by Palehound and The OBGMs.
An Evening with Judy Collins
Thursday, September 15, 2022 | Time: 8 p.m. | Doors Open: 7 p.m.
Judy Collins has been a respected name in music for decades. She was immortalized as the inspiration for Crosby, Stills & Nash’s “Suite: Judy Blue Eyes.” The American folk artist and Grammy Award winner brings her melodic sounds and relaxing acoustic vibes to the Plaza Live in support of her latest album, Spellbound.
Bomba Estéreo
Friday, September 16, 2022 | Time: 8 p.m. | Doors Open: 7 p.m.
Bomba Estéreo is a Colombia-based act formed by musician Simón Mejía in 2005. In 2010, MTV Iggy awarded the group “Best New Band in the World.” The electro-tropical band dances into The Plaza Live this September with their high-energy “Deja World Tour.”
Bonobo
Friday, September 20, 2022 | Time: 8 p.m. | Doors Open: 7 p.m.
Bonobo is the stage name of British DJ and musician Simon Green.
After playing sold-out shows worldwide, the five-time Grammy-nominated artist will share his creative sounds with Orlando for his “Fragments Live Tour.” Get ready to dance with one of the biggest electronic artists in the world. His live show will deliver a mix of electronica, nu jazz, and trip-hop to The Plaza Live stage.
