Orlando Opera Presents: The Secret River
Opera enthusiasts are excited about Opera Orlando debuting their new masterpiece The Secret River.
Based on the book written by Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings, the show is a one-act chamber that takes place somewhere close to home (yes, Central Florida) during the time of the Great Depression. The story follows a young girl named Calpurnia who goes on an adventurous quest in search of a secret river, which she believes will help her struggling family and her small town. Gather for an engaging, imaginative, and compelling production of The Secret River from December 17-19, 2021, at 7:30 p.m. and 2 p.m.

Singer/songwriter Christian Nodal sure does perfectly blend norteño and mariachi.
