Bob Carr Theater Shows in April

Celebrated as one of Orlando’s top performance venues since 1927, the Bob Carr Theater highlights a mixture of rising stars and veteran artists. As home to locally adored acts like the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra and the Florida Symphony Youth Orchestra, the beloved location also sheds light on some of Central Florida’s home-grown talent. Below are a handful of the upcoming festivities that residents and visitors can enjoy this April at the Bob Carr Theater.

Mandy Moore

Live on Wednesday, April 8 at 8 p.m., pop and performing artist Mandy Moore presents her newest and long-awaited album, Silver Landings. Acknowledged for her breakthrough success in the 1999 platinum-selling album So Real, her leading role in the 2002 film A Walk to Remember, as well as her Emmy- and Golden Globe-nominated performance in the NBC series This Is Us, Moore has a multi-faceted track record in entertainment. Tickets for the show start at $39.50 per person.

The Price Is Right Live! 

By popular demand, the hit CBS interactive game show, The Price Is Right, hosts a live showing at the Bob Carr Theater on Sunday, April 19. Starting at 7:30 p.m., game enthusiasts from all ages will witness a nail-biting showdown as contestants compete for $12 million in cash. While playing popular games like Plinko and The Big Wheel, lucky participants play to earn prizes ranging from an exclusive overseas vacation to a brand-new car.

Tickets are available from $39.50 per guest.

Orlando Philharmonic Presents Tchaikovsky’s 5th

Recognizing 27 glorious years of musical performances at the Bob Carr Theater, the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra will conclude the season with Tchaikovsky’s groundbreaking Symphony No. 5 in E minor. Conducted by Eric Jacobsen with a guest appearance from the University of Central Florida chorus, guests are in for a night of iconic music in one of Orlando’s most iconic theaters.

Tchaikovsky’s 5th premiers Saturday, April 25, at 8 p.m. Tickets start at $27 per guest.
