You’ve spent all season cheering for the biggest names in the NFL. Now see them live at the NFL Pro Bowl Games on February 2, 2025.

The NFL Pro Bowl is the equivalent of an All-Star game, honoring the accomplishments of the league’s best players of the season.

Held the weekend prior to the Super Bowl, it’s an event designed to celebrate a well-played football season, unite fans, and build momentum to the biggest game of the year.

Orlando’s Camping World Stadium has hosted the Pro Bowl Game(s) from 2017 – 2020 and in 2024 and has once again been selected for the 2025 event.

Whether you’re a diehard fan or a football beginner, attending the Pro Bowl games is a unique entertainment opportunity that you’ll only find in Orlando this year.

Who Gets Picked to Play in the Pro Bowl Games?

Being chosen to play in the Pro Bowl Games is a major recognition for NFL players.

Participants are voted into the Pro Bowl Games by coaches, other players, and fans in a three-way split. Performance, skill, popularity, and good sportsmanship all play in the decision.

Not every team will be represented by Pro Bowlers each year; if a team had a particularly tough season, they may not have any players chosen to play. Other teams may have up to a dozen players selected as Pro Bowlers that year.

While the best teams often have multiple players elected to play in the Pro Bowl, players from the two teams headed to the Super Bowl the following week receive the title of “Pro Bowler” without attending; they’ll be getting into the zone preparing for the biggest game of the season.

What Will I See at the Pro Bowl Games?

The format of the Pro Bowl has shifted and adapted many times in the past few decades.

It’s been played as a conference rivalry, with players divided onto the AFC or NFC team based on their home team’s categorization.

When fans complained of lackluster commitment and performance from players, the NFL adapted and changed the Pro Bowl to a fantasy draft with alumni captains picking their players one by one.

After the 2021 Pro Bowl Game was cancelled due to the pandemic, Commissioner Roger Goodell decided to shake up the format and instead host a series of competitive skill contests that showcase players’ athleticism and abilities.

Now, the Pro Bowl Games culminate in an AFC vs. NFC non-contact flag football game that is intended to be entertaining and fun for both players and fans.

In addition to the flag football game on Feb. 2, you can also attend special Pro Bowl events across Central Florida that will bring you closer to your favorite teams and players.

Tickets have not yet been released for the event but keep your eyes open for details, dates, and pricing to come soon.
