The Festival of Trees at Orlando Museum of Art

The Christmas tree. Nothing is more iconically “holiday” than one dressed in tinsel, twinkling lights, colorful ornaments, or strings of popcorn. However bedazzled, all Christmas trees bear the spirit of Christmas. If you're looking for Christmas tree inspiration or a way to jump-start your holiday season, head to the Orlando Museum of Art for the 2024 Festival of Trees, Nov. 16 – 24, 2024.

Every year, the museum, located in Orlando’s Loch Haven Park, kicks off the holiday season by hosting the Festival of Trees event. This beloved annual celebration is organized by the Council of 101, an organization created to financially support the Orlando Museum of Art.

The Festival of Trees

The Festival of Trees is a ticketed event that raises funds for the Orlando Museum of Art. This year marks the 38th annual Festival of Trees, which has become a holiday tradition for many Orlando locals and visitors. Festival of Trees fills the museum with over 30 designer-decorated trees that are truly works of art.

These spectacular Christmas trees all showcase a unique theme or aesthetic. Guests can also enjoy a beautiful selection of ornately decorated wreaths and gingerbread houses. If these iconic items of the holidays don’t awaken the spirit of the holidays, then maybe Santa Claus can help. He’ll be in attendance throughout the event, offering the perfect opportunity for Christmas card-worthy photo-ops.

Ticket prices for Festival of Trees are $20 for adults and $12 for children ages 3 – 12, seniors ages 60+, and military personnel and first responders. Parking is an additional $7 per vehicle.

Special Events

The nine-day span of Festival of Trees features several special events. The Opening Night Party typically offers a sneak peek into the festival. Breakfast with Santa (Sat., Nov. 16, and 23, and Sun, Nov. 17) and a children’s Reindeer Romp party (Friday, Nov. 22) add extra festive family fun to this ever-popular event.

All of the special events are priced separately and can be purchased through the Festival of Trees website.

On Wed., Nov. 20, the first 200 guests ages 60+ get free entry., Veterans get in free on Thurs., Nov. 18, the event’s Military Appreciation Day.
