Indoor Activities for a Rainy Day in Orlando

It’s no secret that Orlando summers bring some intense heat and humidity.

But it may surprise some visitors that summer is also Orlando’s rainy season.

From late May through August, Central Florida experiences an abundance of afternoon thunderstorms that often drench the city’s theme parks and outdoor attractions in rain.

Luckily, Orlando has plenty of indoor attractions that are great for staying busy on a rainy day.

Here are some of our favorite indoor activities for a rainy day in Orlando.

Crayola Experience

All of the activities at Crayola Experience are self-guided, so you can take your time and enjoy indoor entertainment at your own pace.

Orlando’s Crayola Experience is in the Florida Mall, so you can enjoy some leisurely shopping before or after your creative adventure.

iFLY's remarkable wind tunnels simulate the sensations of skydiving without the unpleasant feeling of falling.
